Sarah and Matt got married on one of those days that just looked gloomy. During their Farm at Ridgeway Wedding, it literally rained ALL day, and the sun never came out. The great news is that didn’t stop these two from having the time of their lives. Thankfully, the beautiful Farm at Ridgeway is such a gorgeous backdrop for a wedding no matter what the weather!
Their rustic details paired with mint green bridesmaids dresses were the perfect addition to the barn atmosphere. They fully utilized wood accessories complimented by calligraphy to help their guests feel at home. The rough iced cake was simple yet beautiful accentuated by fresh florals and candle light. Such lovely touches really can set the mood! This group was so tight knit, and really enjoyed spending the evening together celebrating what matters most- friendships and family. Everyone young and old got in on the party and really enjoyed dancing and playing around with one another. I love being surrounded by fun-loving people! I also can’t get enough of Sarah’s father’s reaction to his little girl on her wedding day. Such overwhelming joy! I love seeing parents absolutely moved by their child’s big day.
No matter what the special occasion-wedding, birth, or even a vacation- something is destined to not go according to plan. Someone gets sick, a plane is missed, luggage is lost, and yes, it even rains at weddings. That’s why it’s so important to not only have a practical Plan B, but focus on what’s important- your marriage, your celebration. No matter what challenges come your way, a great attitude is what will make those special day challenges something to laugh at. At least one day, anyway!
