One of my favorite Charlotte wedding venues is the Separk Mansion. I will honestly never get tired of shooting weddings there! Everything always runs smoothly, the house and grounds are completely stunning, and my Separk Mansion clients are always the sweetest! Jessica & Jarrell were definitely one of those couples. I truly enjoyed getting to know them and see how much they mean to one another. I tried to think of a favorite moment from their wedding but I couldn’t narrow it down to just one! So here are my top two:

How they got engaged:

From the bride: We were on a trip to Charlottesville VA with a group friends that were celebrating their birthdays. The plan for the day was a 3 stop winery tour. Jarrell had already prepared to propose at one of the wineries but was sure which one. My cousin Ashley was in on the plan. First stop on the tour was King Family Vineyards. After several glasses of wine we went outside for a “group picture”. The view was breathtaking so it made sense we needed a pic. But before the group pic, my cousin says you and Jarrell can go ahead and take a pic together first. I thought it was weird but still had no clue. So as we are walking out to get the best view in the background Jarrell starts saying how much he loves me and how he had talked to my aunt and uncle earlier in the week…I dont remember anything he said after that and then he was down on one knee. And here we are!
