I love a great Separk Mansion wedding and it always amazes me how each one can be so different. Leilani and Justin are such easy-going and laid back people so it was no surprise that their wedding reflected that! Their gorgeous decor and details seemed so effortless and really let the beauty of the mansion shine. I was slightly obsessed with her dress!!! It was a real stunner. On days like this, family means everything and unfortunately, Leilani’s brother could not be there since he is serving overseas with the Air Force. He did however get to FaceTime her and watch the ceremony. Let me tell you…when she and her mom started crying as soon as they saw him, everyone in the room started to tear up. It was such a beautiful moment!
We met online. Leilani messaged Justin. We bonded over growing up military and traveling around the world. We talked on the phone for weeks and eventually agreed to go on a first date in December 2012. First date immediately turned into a second date, and we decided to “make it official” in January 2013.
Justin and Leilani are a “no frills” and private kind of couple, and their engagement story was just that. Justin proposed over dinner in a quiet corner of their favorite sushi restaurant. They then called their family to share the good news and celebrated with champagne and dessert.
