Heather & Tony | Separk Mansion Wedding

Heather and Tony’s classic Separk Mansion wedding was one of my favorite weddings ever! I’m so, so glad I had the opportunity to work with them as their Charlotte wedding photographer. I just knew it would be amazing the second Heather told me the colors were black, white and various shades of pink. But truly, from the moment I set foot in the mansion, all of the beautiful details took my breath away.
Lily Greenthumbs did an absolutely AMAZING job with the flowers; Wee-R-Sweetz made some mouthwatering candied apple favors as well as mini-bundt cakes; the ever-stunning Separk Mansion looked GORGEOUS adorned with the classic color scheme. The icing on the cake was when each groomsman visited Heather with a little gift from the groom. It was one of the sweetest gestures I have ever seen!
They really thought of every little detail. Even the children’s tables had a photo scavenger hunt and cameras! “The devil is in the details” is how the old saying goes. However, I think it’s love that is in the details. When a bride and groom come together to create a magical evening not just for themelves but also for their guests, they are conveying their love for one another and all of their loved ones. It takes time, energy and heart to be thoughtful and intentional with your wedding details, but the moment you see it all come together, you know it was worth it. It is always worth it to make others feel loved and cared for!
