Congratulations, your wedding has been approved for publication on Borrowed & Blue.
When I began this journey three and a half years ago, there were many times that I wondered if I would be good enough. I wondered if I would be able to not only learn how to start a business, but to sustain a successful one. Each year that passes, I set a goal for myself. This year, my goal was to be published. I reached that goal earlier in the year when Chloe’s First Birthday party was published on Pretty My Party. I was so excited to have that under my belt, but I felt like having a wedding published was really my goal. After shooting Courtney & Joe’s spring wedding at the beautiful Separk Mansion and seeing all the AMAZING lavender details, I knew I wanted to try to submit it. When I opened my email two weeks ago to see the first line above, I basically freaked out. Haha. I couldn’t stop smiling for the rest of the day. Not only was I getting a wedding published, but they apparently loved it so much that they not only featured it on their blog, but also in their Weekly Wedding Press email as well as in the header of their main page. I still get excited every time I think about it. I never knew how truly satisfying owning my own business would be and no matter the hardships, I would do it all again a million times.

I also have to give a major “thank you” to my amazing second shooter, Kellie. She has grown so much since she joined the team and I know that I can count on her to be my right hand. Our styles match up so perfectly that it is hard to tell who to which photos. Some of the details below were taken by her 🙂
